ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/ACCOUNTING--Five Quarters

 

This program of instruction is designed to provide the student with the training he/she will need for an entry-level accounting position.  The student will receive a thorough grounding in basic accounting principles and will advance to a knowledge of the cash flow concept, the use of working papers, tax procedures, income tax preparation, analysis of balance sheets and income statements, payroll procedures, cost analysis, and auditing theory and procedures.  A computerized accounting course is offered to the student where the student receives hands-on computer training.
